BTCC is excited to share with you that we are bringing an Introduction to Systemic Racism Training to Monroe County. This one-day workshop will be led by Crossroads Anti-Racism Organizing and Training, a Chicago-area organization whose mission is to dismantle systemic racism and build antiracist multicultural diversity within institutions and communities.

The training is scheduled for April 16, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, and will be held at the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County (YSB). The new training facility at YSB can hold up to 75 people, and we plan to fill the room.

The registration application form can be found here.  The registration deadline is March 16.  In the event that we have more community interest than spaces in the room, we will select participants based on information provided in the application.

This training is supported by Building a Thriving Compassionate Community (BTCC), Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County (YSB) and the Monroe County Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI).
